Before you start

About templates.

Do I need to start from scratch?

No. Open a PDF and add fields, or upload a DOCX with placeholders such as {{name}} to detect fields automatically. The converted document remains the basis of the form.

Which placeholders can I use in a DOCX?

Use {{name}} to create a text field or {{name,20}} to reserve space for 20 characters. After conversion, the fields appear in Studio for review and adjustment.

What can I try without an account?

Open Studio, prepare fields, test the form, and export the PDF. To save to your library, create a free account with 1 template and 3 documents across 50 MB. DOCX conversion requires an account and includes 3 free conversions per month.

What is the difference between fillable and flattened?

A fillable PDF keeps fields that can receive answers. In a flattened PDF, the content becomes part of the page and the fields are no longer interactive.

Where can I find saved templates?

In the My templates library. Select a workspace, open a template in Studio, and reuse it.

Less repetition. More work done.

Give your document a second life.

Open the PDF you already use and prepare its fields for next time.
